With an ice storm on the way, this long i spelling activity couldn’t be more appropriate for today! These cute little penguins are standing on big blocks of ICE containing sentences with this week’s long i spelling words. My students did such a great job remembering to use a capital letter in the beginning of the sentence and punctuation at the end! Way to go first grade.
