2015 First Grade Supply List

Don't forget to get those school supplies!!!!  Only 14 more day!  Here is what you will need this year for first grade.........20 glue sticks, 3 boxes of crayons, 25 #2 pencils (sharpened please), 1 pocket folder, 4 large pink erasers, 4 black/fine-line dry erase markers, 1 box of large tipped Crayola markers, 1 plastic pencil box, 1 pair of gym shoes, 1 pair of socks to leave at school for PE, 3 boxes of Kleenex, 1 pair of scissors, and 1 wide rule notebook.

Getting Ready!!!!

Well, I'm in the classroom today preparing for the arrival of my new students!  My classroom was freshly painted this summer (it looks fantastic) so I am busy putting everything back up on the walls, organizing supplies, and labeling EVERYTHING!!!  So far I have clocked 10 hours of hard work in the classroom.  Things are coming together nicely and I am excited for a brand new school year to begin. Seat Sacks Are Here!!!!

I know it is summer vacation but I'm all ready preparing for the arrival of my kiddos!  I was so excited to see a big box on my porch today when I got home!  The seat sacks that I ordered are here and boy will they keep my first graders organized this year.  I am anxious to get back into the classroom and start decorating and organizing supplies.  The start of a new school year is always exciting!
